With the help of groups such as The Lions Club of Hadspen South Esk, donations have exceeded $32,000.
It's just a time of giving and the club realises there's some people out there that miss out during this family time. We'd like to help them out to make this time special for them as well.

Lions Club of Hadspen South Esk presented The Examiner with a cheque valued at $500 to support the appeal.
President of the Lions Club of Hadspen South Esk Christopher Weare said the Empty Stocking Appeal was an important cause for the club to contribute to.
“It's just a time of giving, and the club realises there's some people out there that miss out during this family time,” He said.
“We'd like to help them out to make this time special for them as well.”
Mr Weare said the club supports Empty Stocking through donations every year.
“As long as I've been a member it's been one of the causes that we support every year,” he said.
“We help out where we can.”

The Empty Stocking Appeal is an annual fundraiser organised by The Examiner to raise money for The Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, Launceston City Mission and The Benevolent Society of Launceston.
This years goal has been set to $80,000.
