It may have been a cloudy and overcast day, but this did not dampen the boundless enthusiasm and spirit of the cubs, who all had an awesome time rock-climbing and abseiling with the help of qualified abseiling instructors.
When asked, Jarrod from Trevallyn, Kole from St Helens and Zoe from Norwood all said they had a great time and really enjoyed themselves.
Most cubs also said they could not wait for the next activity date.
Cub scouts are aged 8 to 10 for both boys and girls and Scouts also run programs for boys and girls in other age groups including Joey Scouts (5 to 7), Scouts (11 to 14) and Venturer Scouts (15 to 18).
