Electing to bat, Queensland took the willow to the Tigers’ 10 bowlers with joy – amassing 342 off 49.2 overs at Glenelg Oval.
The Bulls built regular partnerships throughout their innings with a 75-run opening stand between Corey Hunter (53) and Angus Lovell (67) setting the tone.
Ben Maynard and Lachlan Prince then added 35 and 49, respectively, before a mini Tasmanian fightback had Queensland 7-248.
However, the final three wickets put on 96 in no time to have the Tigers reeling with Blake Cassidy (4-51), Jarrod Freeman (3-58) and captain Keegan Oates (2-25) the most successful bowlers.
Tasmania was 4-44 as the top order crumbled in reply, before Jack McCulloch (51 off 50 balls) and Freeman joined forces to put on 97 for the fifth wicket.
Kade Applebee and Jack Freeman came and went for 20 each, while Jarrod Freeman was eventually dismissed for 89 of 83 balls – including four fours and four sixes – with the Tigers 8-236.
Lachie Newland hit 10, James Curran 8 and Jyles Horne was 1 not out when Tasmania was dismissed for 250 in the 42nd over.
The Tigers defeated Cricket Australia XI and South Australia before falling to Victoria Metro and the Bulls.
Tasmania faces tournament favourite NSW Metro in the final pool round on Sunday.
