The former North-West Thunder guard was one of the key signings unveiled on the same day the Southern Huskies announced they will be competing in New Zealand’s National Basketball League starting in April, alongside Adelaide 36ers’ developing forward Harry Froling.
Bragg said he was looking forward to playing with the Huskies in the New Zealand competition.
“There were basic talks held about a month ago and I thought the Huskies will be a great chance to not just represent the North-West Coast where I am from, but all of Tasmania as well,” Bragg said
“I think that is what is pretty exciting.
“I know a little about it and I know it is probably the second best competition underneath the (Australian) NBL and other NBL players go play in it.”
Bragg has been with the Adelaide 36ers during the NBL season as a training squad player.
