The Bureau of Meteorology Tasmania predicted weather in the city to hit a mostly sunny 28 degrees across the three days.
However, the bureau also predicted possible late showers for Friday and Saturday.
The warm weather will continue through the Northern Midlands, with hot temperatures through Evandale, Cressy, Campbell Town, and Ross.
The East Coast and North-East will be a little cooler with an average of 25 degrees at St Helens and at Scottsdale, and slightly cooler temperatures through Deloraine, Exeter, and George Town.
Temperatures are expected to drop from Sunday, with temperatures dipping from 25 degrees on Sunday to 23 degrees on Tuesday.
The bureau predicted the weather throughout Australia during the summer period would be hotter than usual.
