The Tasmanian Tractor Pulling Vintage Tractor Association Red Hills Tractor Pull involves pulling a weight transfer sledge as far as possible down a 100 metre track and at the end of the competition the winners of each class are those who have pulled the greatest total distance.
Along with tractor pulling, the event will also include mini V8 mini modified and super modified tractors from Victoria and local modified and vintage tractors.
The club has two pulling sleds and divides competitors into classes based on engine horsepower. This enables smaller tractors to use the small sled and competitors of these to enjoy tractor pulling.
The event will be held over two days on December 8 and 9. All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Apex Club of Deloraine.
