Entertainment committee member for Deloraine Fiona Gleeson said the show was very successful.
“Our gate numbers were up this year and there were lots of families enjoying the great range of entertainment,” Mrs Gleeson said.
“The wood chopping drew a large crowd and it was fantastic to have it back on the program this year,”

After two years of being absent from the show, competitive wood chopping returned to the show, Mrs Gleeson said the event was very popular.
“The wood chopping drew a large crowd and it was fantastic to have it back on the program this year,” she said.
In light of wood chopping’s successful return, Mrs Gleeson hopes it will remain at the show for years to come.
Another particularly popular event was the pet parade, which saw a number of entrants from the animal kingdom such as Alpacas, guinea pigs and kittens.
A record number of entries in the sheep exhibition section, Mrs Gleeson also commended the strong entries in the cattle exhibition.
