The Lions squeezed the life out of South after taking 2-9 in the first five overs and not even a 50-run partnership between Jonathan Marsden (19) and Nathan Carter (36) could get the innings back on track.
Paceman Tom Gray led the way for the Lions with the incredible figures of 3-8 off four overs, and also had a hand in two run-outs.
The Knights scored just three boundaries in their 6-78, a total that was matched by Lion Sam Elliston-Buckley in the second over of the chase.
Ethan Conway (19) became the first of Cody Lowe’s two victims in the seventh over, but by that stage the Lions were 0-58 and well on the way to victory.
Elliston-Buckley (33) and Zac Oldenhof were dismissed in the space of three balls before Lachlan Newland ended the match with a boundary on the first ball of the 11th over.
Two teenagers took bags of three wickets as RIVERSIDE completed a nine-wicket rout of George Town.
The Saints’ innings began slowly with two early wickets and a succession of 17 balls where no runs were scored off the bat.
Leigh Barrett got things moving, hitting three sixes and two fours in a 28-ball 35 but his dismissal to James Simpson (3-19) marked the end of the resistance.
Jack Colgrave then wrapped up the innings for 86 with three ball to spare, taking three wickets in nine balls courtesy of two Sam Artis catches.
In reply, Blues skipper Tom Garwood fell to Sam Cooke (1-20) for 19 but Josh Partridge and Peter New made no mistake, ending the match with successive fours either side of 13 overs.
