After commencing in Hobart on November 11, the festivities are moving up the state in the form of socials and dinners celebrating the region’s fine food and wine.
“Effervescence Tasmania’s collaborations with Tasmania’s highest quality food producers and restaurants has really taken us beyond just a wine festival,” festival founder Jeremy Dineen said.
He said the event “showcases the best that Tasmania has to offer, with sparkling wine at the centre”.
Events include a five-course degustation [food tasting] dinner at Stillwater in Launceston, as well as newcomers Timbre Kitchen in Legana who will be hosting a dinner featuring their wood-fired cuisines.
“We’re delighted to be creating our first collaboration with Effervescence Tasmania and we hope it is the start of a long and successful relationship,” Timbre owner Matt Adams said.
Both dinners will on Friday November 16 after 6pm.
