Longford will travel to Trevallyn without Brett Martin and Shannon Rumbel (dislocated shoulder), who will be replaced by Jackson Blair at the top of the order.
“We’re looking forward to taking them on, they’ve got some really good players,” Tigers leader Josh Adams said.
“Their batting is their strength and our bowling has been the benchmark of the last couple of seasons so it should be a good contest.”
BEAUTY POINT will welcome back Beau Hills and Joe Bodis as it looks to break its duck against Cressy.
Captain-coach Rob Crane lamented his side’s lack of discipline in the opening rounds and urged for greater application from his players.
“Cressy is a pretty good side who's been playing pretty well,” he said.
“We had a couple of good tussles with them last year so we’ve got to bat smarter and bowl better lines.”
The Bulldogs are also coming off a loss but showed glimpses against Trevallyn.
“We were in the game for a long period of time, things just didn’t go our way,” skipper Damian Whybrow said.
“We’ve just got to redeem ourselves from last week.”
Bowler Brad Solly will debut in ACL’s clash with Perth, who is 2-0 following a tight win over Legana which came down to the last ball.
Bluebacks captain-coach John Kedey labelled the match a must-win.
“Perth are a very young group and I can see them being very successful in the years to come,” he said.
“We’ve got to be really ready for this because if we lose we’re 0-3 and on the back foot for the rest of the season.”
Matty Wells will play his first game of the season as LEGANA meets an in-form Hadspen for the second time in three days.
Wells will be joined by Josh Allen in Geoff Stick’s XI as Chris Demeijer and Logan Wright make way.
“(Last week) was probably a game we should have won,” Stick said.
“We felt like we had the chase under control the whole game realistically and we really did, but the last couple of overs I think we panicked a bit.”
