Meander Valley Council has received a development application for a site at Meander to be converted into a five cabin and a nine caravan visitor accommodation site.
One two-bedroom and four one-bedroom cabins are proposed.
An amenities building and common room are also proposed.
The Main Road site has an existing dwelling and associated outbuildings, but the application said it does not have access to reticulated services.
A wastewater report said the site has “sufficient” available area for the disposal of effluent by a secondary treated wastewater treatment system.
Two existing entries will be used for the visitor accommodation. The Western access will be the main entry, also with an exit. The second will be entry only.
A total of 16 car parking spaces will be available on the site.
Public comment for the development application closes on November 20.
