Sejr Deans’ 26 points led Riverside to a 56-35 win on Sunday in the boys year 9/10 first division final over Scotch Oakburn. Rival Henry Cox was tireless with 20 points.
Riverside also went on to collect the intermediate double in a 37-26 win over St Patrick’s for the girls year 9/10 title.
Micah Simpson stood out with 14 points for the winners and teammate Grace Steele nailed nine. St Pats pair Georgie Bennett and Chloe Heather had eight each.
Riverside dominated the boys year 7/8 grand final 63-30 over St Patrick’s Green.
Laccie Maynard shot 24 points for the third time in five games and Lachlan Brewer added 23 points to average 22.2 points per game.
Liam Jones hit 12 and Jack O’Neil nine points for St Pats.
St Patrick’s year 7/8 girls finished a dominant weekend with its smallest win 29-17 over Scotch in the decider.
The Prospect school had won all of its four games by an average of 27.75 points.
Grace Wesley scored seven points and Keely Morrison six in the grand final. Kate McShane and Zoe Bremner both scored seven for Scotch.
Deloraine 1 had a thrilling 39-37 win in the year 9/10 boys second division grand final against St Patrick’s.
Kye Chilcott with 15 points and Lucas Bakes 11 led the way. For St Pats, Tom Boric hit 13 points, Matt Saunders 10 and Oscar Birtwhistle 9.
St Patrick’s had a 30-9 win over Kings Meadows for the year 9/10 second division title, all after Mikayla Bingley shot 20 points in a 33-2 Kings girls’ win at an earlier match.
Green beat Gold 35-32 in the all-St Patrick’s year 7/8 finale. Jayden Donovan shot 16 and Ryan Berne 15. Dylan Farquhar had 11 for Gold.
Mia Brown with 11 points led Launceston Grammar to a 27-22 girls win over St Pats.
