Opening hours at Nunamara and Lilydale waste transfer stations will drop from one day to a half day each weekend.
Nunamara Waste Transfer Station will be open every Saturday between 8.30am and 12pm from December 1, while Lilydale Waste Transfer Station will be open every Sunday from 8.30am to 12pm.
Located at Binghams Road, Nunamara, this station accepts aluminium, brass, lead and copper; garbage; mixed recycling; motor oil; steel; and tyres.
Lilydale Waste Transfer Station is at Second River Road, Lilydale, and accepts the same waste as Nunamara, along with cardboard, garden waste and polystyrene.
