The group’s junior company will present A Christmas Peter Pan, while the middle company are set to perform Tails of Hamelin. It’s all about timing for 13-year-old Jasmine Jones, who plays Glocken the clock maker in Tails of Hamelin. She said she had enjoyed the individual and collaborative opportunities her role offered.
“I like this production, because it has a lot of ensemble parts, which means there is plenty of collaboration within the cast,” she said.
“Glocken is a unique character and I like bring out what makes him different from the others.”
This year, LYTE has been working with students from the University of Tasmania’s School of Creative Arts.
A Christmas Peter Pan will be performed from November 12-14, while Tails of Hamelin will be held from November 19-21. Both productions will be at the Annexe Theatre. Tickets can be purchased through trybooking.com.
