Customers can now walk through the main store to the back area, with a lounge chair, pool table and Scalextric set creating a relaxing environment.
The memorabilia extends to an ever-changing display of cars and boats, co-owner Scott Freeman said.
“It has a car history so we are trying to keep that,” Mr Freeman said.
“Customers can come in and spend time in here. We wanted to make the shop a bit more open,” he said.
The extra space will come in handy when AFL players visit, with Jordan De Goey from Collingwood in store on November 17 and West Coast Eagles’ Josh Kennedy arriving on December 15.
With more space, more player visits are on the cards.
“We want to have four player visit each year.”
