The grade 8 broke her own record from last year by three seconds in clocking 5:03 in the 1500-metres combined and also set a new 80m hurdles benchmark with 13.33.
Butler also broke a record that had stood for 26 years when her 2:28.84 800m surpassed the 2:33.00 set by J Castle in 1982.
Makala Bingley also broke two records, establishing benchmarks of 34.00m in the grade 9 javelin and 11.03m in the shot put.
Other records were set by Joshua Harris in the grade 8 800m (2:13.82), Sam Talbot in the grade 9 800m (2:08.38) and Maddison Donaldson who recorded 9.96m in the grade 9 triple jump.
Organisers reported a successful event split between the school oval and St Leonards Athletics Centre with Esk house breaking the five-year reign of Tamar on the last relay events.
