The City of Launceston council was last of the Northern councils to be announced, with the results for aldermen finalised about 7.30pm on Friday night.
City of Hobart was the final council in the state to be confirmed, with results released about 7pm on Saturday.

Mayor: Albert van Zetten
Deputy mayor: Danny Gibson
Aldermen: Albert van Zetten, Janie Finlay, Danny Gibson, Andrea Dawkins, Nick Daking, Hugh McKenzie, Karina Stojansek, Rob Soward, Jim Cox, Paul Spencer, Alan Harris, Tim Walker
Long standing alderman Robin McKendrick was a late exclusion after preferences. Mr McKendrick joins Emma Williams and Simon Wood as former aldermen who did not retain their position.
