Movember calls for men to grow a moustache through the month of November to start a conversation about men’s health.
Break O’Day councillors Kylie Wright and Janet Drummond are participating in the cause by wearing fake moustaches until the end of the month.
They aimed to raise funds for men’s health issues, such as prostate and testicular cancers, mental health, and suicide prevention.
Cr Wright said the two would be wearing their fake moustaches to council meetings, shopping, while at work and volunteering, or any other time they left their homes.
She said the fundraiser was drawing attention, with many people giving the two some “very interesting looks”.
Their fundraising page can be found online at moteam.co/bodmosisters.
