Bianca and Nathan Burrows have taken over the George Street store, and are planning a soft opening for Thursday and a big family event on Saturday.
Ms Burrows, who has been a fitness instructor for 16 years and previously worked at FITUP, said the store had been rebranded and would now stock labels that had been previously available online only.
“It had been mainly women’s clothing so we are going to push the male brand,” she said.
“Nathan had to buy all his stuff online so it will be nice to offer that to guys in store.”
Brands include the store’s own label FITUP official, as well as The Upside, P.E Nation and Running Bare.
Saturday’s family event includes giveaways, discounts, activities and food.
FITUP re-opens at 78 George Street between 10am and 4pm on Thursday and from 9.30am on Saturday.
