The Sound of Music will be performed across three weeks in what will be company’s second show this year.
It was chosen as part of Encore’s 10th anniversary celebrations, having been the first musical performed by the theatre group.
Director Danny Gibson said it was exciting to watch the musical come together again.
“We’ve been rehearsing for the past five months for The Sound of Music, with children as young as seven set to make their debut,” he said.
“It’s always a great joy to work with such a large cast.”
The Sound of Music will be performed from November 2-17 at the Princess Theatre. Tickets are available through theatrenorth.com.au/the-sound-of-music.
