Launceston speedster Jared Dakin and North Launceston forward Jackson Callow were named alongside Clarence’s Oliver Davis and North Hobart trio Mitch O’Neill, Will Peppin and Sam Collins in a squad which combines future draft prospects from Tasmania, New South Wales, ACT, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
The Allies, who will again be coached by Brisbane three-time premiership star Luke Power, will hold a training camp between December 3 and 14.
The camp will also give players the chance to put their names forward for a series of national camps which will take place over the next 12 months.
Callow, Collins and Davis all featured in the under-16 All Australian side this year, with Callow averaging almost nine marks and Davis 20 touches during Tasmania’s under-16 division 2 national championship win.
O’Neill’s year included Allies division 1 championship selection and a gig in the All-Stars game on AFL Grand Final day, as well as featuring alongside Dakin and Peppin in Tasmania’s successful under-18 division 2 academy series.
