Among other matters, he is rightly critical of the obscene levels of annual emolument, which all four of these bank’s CEOs have had lavished upon them.

However, as Mr Doddy is doubtless aware, it was not only banks (and the countless number of faceless men and women employed by them) who have been found to be both  “greedy and dishonest”.

It is many insurance companies, including AMP, and the countless number of companies and individuals who go by the name of financial planners and advisers. This latter group are so numerous in number that they may never be individually exposed, however, they should be at the very least, named and shamed.

They seek to feed upon an unsuspecting prey; you and I and, they ruin lives.

MY MAIN gripe as a cane user is when lost or disorientated, a big voice yells “over there” which is useless to me.

Over the years it has restricted my earnings being stuck at home for up to three days at a time, and as Airbnb is increasing in the area those paying top dollar for holiday homes would not be impressed being stuck at The Gardens or Binalong Bay with very few services.

THE Liberal Party Denison shows both commonsense and courage, for its proposal to “pressure the state and federal governments, to ensure that radical gender ideology is not taught in schools”(The Examiner, October 8). It is to be hoped this honest and rational proposal will be taken seriously by our governments. This ideology, has crept in under the radar, over the past couple of years with some degree of success, particularly in public schools. Young children do not need this confusion in their lives. No one should assume that gender dysphoria is normal, nor should children be treated by doctors, with hormonal drugs, which simply gives medical credence to what in essence, is a psychological disorder. The child should be referred to a psychiatrist.

The notion that such behaviour is acceptable and children can be whatever they want to be, is simply, society itself, abusing children. These children are in need of gentle and understanding honesty, from parents, teachers and above all doctors, that they are loved, valued and respected for the great boys and girls that they are.

IT WAS laughable and tragic at the same time to hear Liberal Senator Mathias Cormann attempting not to answer a question on whether he agreed that the anti-discrimination exemptions for religious clubs and organisations should be continued or strengthened.

He started by claiming the exemptions to the laws were introduced by Labor, with a - so don’t blame me, kind of bluster.

He failed to remind the listener that the Liberals were placing all sorts of pressure to have the exemptions included at the time. Disingenuous, comes to mind.

But he had a point, Labor showed no commitment to principle by allowing such exemptions to a law as fundamental to human rights as one covering anti-discrimination.

Did Labor really believe that holding a belief is justification to legitimise the idea that particular sub-groups in society be singled out for special alienation?

Shameful behaviour by both parties, as well as the religious lobbyists involved.

NO MATTER what question is posed to Prime Minister Scott Morrison, he answer with a tirade aimed at “Shorten” who will raise taxes and be dominated by the unions.

As far as I am aware he is the leader of the Labor Party and will be acting in accordance with the wishes of the Labor caucus.

Despite repeated personal attacks by both the present and the former Prime Ministers he has refused to be ruffled which must be a major source of annoyance to his opponents.

HOW blessed are we as a nation to have such diligent, honest and worthy group of politicians focusing on the best outcome for its citizens - we must be the envy of the world.

Here I go again living in a fools paradise wishing for the impossible that will never come to pass unfortunately, not while we have such as we have in politics.

The antics of some of our pollies has gone far beyond decency and respect.

We change our prime ministers at the drop of a hat and in that we go from bad to worse, they have no concept of loyalty, respect and mateship.

Their behaviour at times borders on what one would expect from bullies in the playground. They are truly an utter disgrace and I despise for what they represent.
