Delamere co-owner Fran Austin said that the vineyard was the ideal setting for a relaxed day of musical entertainment.
“We decided to create an event that gathered together friends and families to enjoy intimate performances of some really talented musical artists, all while enjoying local food, beverages and the stunning local scenery,” she said.
“We were looking for ways to shine a light on the creative talent, innovation and spirit of the regional Tasmanian community.
“It’s a beautiful way to celebrate what regional community is all about, and it’s been particularly rewarding to see the community get behind it with so much enthusiasm.”

The festival was conceived three years ago as part of the wider North East Rivers Festival, which is not going ahead this year due to a lack of volunteers.
However, several events that were a part of the North East Rivers Festival are still running separately, including the Delamere Music Festival.
This year’s line-up includes the award-winning South Australian singer-songwriter – and ex-winemaker – Kelly Menhennett, who will be accompanied by her band for the first time in Tasmania; soul outfit Bad Dad Orchestra; Tasmania’s own young bluesman Pete Cornelius; and energetic nine-piece funk band Funktional.
The tunes will be accompanied by a selection of plates by Formosa Bites, who create Taiwanese food with Tasmanian produce and have been featured at Dark Mofo, beer from Scottsdale’s Little Rivers Brewing Co, and of course, Delamere’s range of wines.
The event is not BYO alcohol, however attendees are welcome to bring along a picnic.
Tickets are $35 and are available online at www.delamerevineyards.com.au/Events.
Tickets for a bus service to-and-from Launceston cost $15 return.
