About 400 Tasmanian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, making early detection extremely important.
Women Minister Jacuquie Petrusma said more than 5400 women were overdue for their screening appointment.
“Take 20 minutes out of your day to look after yourself and potentially save your life,” she said.
“When breast cancer is diagnosed early through screening, treatment is more successful.”
