The 33-year-old regular Tasmanian training partners are both set to join Trek-Segafredo on two-year contracts beginning in January.
However, they are scheduled to complete their existing contracts at the Tour of Guangxi in China, which runs for six days from Tuesday.
Before that, both riders are also on the start list for Sunday’s one-day 41.5-kilometre Hammer Hong Kong race.
Originally from Campbell Town, Clarke is due to leave Education First-Drapac at the end of this season after five seasons in the Drapac fold having previously ridden WorldTour with AG2R La Mondiale (2010), Leopard Trek (2011) and Argos-Shimano (2013).
His most recent commitments were one-day races in Canada in September.
Porte, of Launceston, has not competed since falling ill towards the end of the Vuelta a Espana. He finished 84th but was subsequently forced to withdraw from the road world championships in Austria where he was set to lead the Australian team.
In July he crashed out of the Tour de France for the second year running while spearheading the Team BMC charge.
