The 2018 Independent Tasmanian Country Music Awards return for a third year on Saturday.
Nominations for the awards’ 14 categories are pulled from artists featured in the TGYA FM Radio charts throughout the year.
Debbie Parry is one of the award nominees and plays in one of the night’s 24 performing acts, The Parry Family, with her children Anita and Luke.
“We’ve been playing together since they were eight or nine years old… so a lot of years,” she said.

Between the three of them and Ms Parry’s granddaughter – also up for a nomination – the family could end the night with 8 awards.
“It’s a bit of a shock actually,” she said of the nominations.
“It’s always nice to know we have people’s votes.”
The 2018 Independent Tasmanian Country Music Awards will be held from 6pm on Saturday, October 13 at Theatre North at the Princess.
Red carpet entries will take place from 5.30pm.
Tickets are available at www.theatrenorth.com.au.
