Make sure you don’t miss these highlights.
Fireworks
Show-goers made their feelings clear when fireworks were left out of last year’s schedule.
They make a triumphant return this year, starting from 9pm on Thursday.
Social Circus
Young show-goers will have the chance to learn circus skills through a range of specially designed workshops.
Activities include juggling, diabolo, devilstick, hula hoop, stilts and much more.
Animal Nursery
As usual, there will be no shortage of fur and feathers at the animal nursery, which this year includes goats, lambs, donkeys, rats, guinea pigs, ponies and a friendly alpaca.
A well-placed photo could also net visitors a free tote bag.
Fashion Parade
The Sheep Pavillion will become a catwalk from 2.30pm for the Sues of Invermay Master’s Fashion Parade.
It joins the fireworks in returning after a lengthy hiatus.
Hot Saws
Consisting of customised chainsaws with modified engines, Hot Saws can cost cost up to $10,000 and require warming up before they are used in competition.
Competitors cut discs of wood from tree trunk-sized logs for the competition.
Not one for the easily startled.
