In the girls’ tournament, Sophie Kruimink struck a 36th-minute field goal to earn a 1-1 draw with Victoria Venom.
Nic Duffy’s side then suffered their first defeat, 1-0 to Western Australia Emeralds.
Tasmania faces Queensland Cinders at 11am on Wednesday.
