The burn will begin on Thursday, October 11.
Total area of burn will be about 120 hectares, and is expected to take two to three days to complete.
Tasmania Fire Service said the burn would take place as part of the statewide Fuel Reduction Program, which aims to reduce bushfire risks and to protect lives and communities.
Smoke may persist for days afterward depending on wind conditions. The intensity of the fire will be low, however, it will generate smoke, flames, and ash.
