Anybody has lived on, been to, or is thinking of heading to Flinders Island or others in the Furneaux Group will be able to get a taste in Rosevears this weekend.
A reunion event will be held for the third time in recent years on Saturday, along with a small market day event.
Wayne Virieux, who has organised the event, said anybody with an interest in the islands are welcome to attend.
Mr Virieux traces his family back generations on the island group and has been involved since he and a group of other past residents living in St Helens first decided to hold a reunion in 2009.
“We would encourage all past and present folk that have lived or visited the islands of the Furneaux Group to come along and share their experiences with others,” he said.

The Furneaux Group is made up of 52 islands, the largest being Flinders and Cape Barren.
A small market with wares from the islands, including award-winning wines and locally made jewelry, will also be held alongside the reunion.
Mr Virieux said the area was a hidden treasure for tourists with friendly locals, short drives, and a laid-back atmosphere.
“We would also invite anyone who would like to find out what Flinders Island has to offer as your next holiday destination,” he said.
“These islands are something to behold.”
“I’m hoping we convince a lot of people.”
The Rosevears Hotel will host the event from 11am on Saturday, October 13.
