Public comment is now open for stage three of the playground at Longford Village Green until October 22.
A development application for works at the 53 Wellington Street site was advertised on Saturday.
It’s estimated the project will cost $53,300.
The third stage will be situated on the southwest corner of the earlier two and include both a carousel with sitting, standing, and wheelchair stations, and a swing set with a baby capsule and high-backed seat.

An extension of rubber soft fall flooring will join with stages one and two.
It’s been a long time coming for the new playground, with preliminary concepts seen in early 2016.
Stage two was completed in late 2017.
The Kompan playground with incorporated electronics, supplied by Ultimate Play, is the first of it’s kind in Tasmania.
