Presenters, exhibitors and workshops will all look at different aspects of soil health to help people improve their gardens and properties.
Tamar NRM spokesman Greg Lundstrom said the soil awareness sessions would appeal to horticulturists, producers and gardeners.
“We are delighted to have secured excellent presenters who will share their knowledge and demonstrate simple but essential tests to determine the characteristics of soil samples,” Mr Lundstrom said.
Agronomist and Earthworms in Tasmanian Agriculture author Dr Graeme Stevenson, Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis and soil scientist Theresa Chapman will run practical soil sessions.
Workshops include composting for kids, soil biology and soil testing.
