Tasmania Fire Service was called out to Elizabeth Town Collectables on the Bass Highway at 1.48pm on Friday, September 21.
Deloraine Fire Brigade leading firefighter Andrew Sherriff said upon arrival, the Fiat Winnebago was fully engulfed in flames and the fire was spreading to the weatherboards at the back of the nearby house.
The camper van was completely destroyed, but the house only suffered minor damage. None of the residents were injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown, however, it was believed to be due to a gas leak or electrical problem in the camper van.
The damaged was estimated to be more than $65,000.
