Of the few things left for Bracknell 500-gamer Matthew Bosworth to achieve, a second premiership must be somewhere near the top of the list.

Set to play his seventh grand final in Saturday’s reserves decider against South Launceston, the 38-year-old has two targets in his firing line – the Redlegs’ first flag since 2004 and his first since 1997.
Bracknell will go in favourite having blitzed the Bulldogs and minor premier Hillwood en route to the decider, but Bosworth has played enough games in September to know all bets are off come grand final day.
“We’ve obviously played some good footy in the two finals we’ve had but Saturday’s going to be another step up,” the father-of-four said.
“You never go in over-confident with things but we’ve certainly been playing good team footy over the last two finals we’ve played.”

The Redlegs will benefit from the services of seniors regulars Nicholas Jones and ruckman Majak Miar, who came close to winning senior selection.
“It’s a pretty even team, we’ve got Cameron Bugg and Cam Johns up forward who have been kicking a few goals in the last few weeks, but we’ve got a pretty good even spread,” Bosworth said.
“There’s some good young kids with some speed on the wings and a couple of guys on the half-back flank who set us up well, but I don’t know whether we’ve got too many standout guys, we’re playing pretty even team football at the moment.”
