Summer Moon will feature headliners Lee Kernaghan and the McClymonts, and promoter Matt Gower said tickets were already selling fast.
“We’ve had a fantastic response so far, we’ve had people getting in touch from all over the state,” he said.
“It’s a very unrepresented group, the country music market in Tassie, and there’s people from the North-West Coast to down south in Hobart who would love to travel for this event.
“We saw the opportunity and we’ve got a line-up to match the enthusiasm.”
Lee Kernaghan has sold more than two million albums in Australia, with his 2015 work Spirit of The Anzacs being the highest-selling album of any genre that year. He has won 38 Golden Guitars and has been awarded Hit Maker of the decade twice, in 2001 and 2011.

The McClymonts, made up of three sisters, have a rollout of achievements including 20 hit singles, two gold-certified albums, 10 Golden Guitars, two ARIAs for Best Country Album and a US Country Music Association Award for Global Artist of the Year.
The line-up also includes Catherine Britt, Matty Cornell, Aleyce Simmonds, and Tasmanian musician Casey Barnes.
Mr Gower said the artists were just as excited about the festival as the organisers.
“They are going nuts, they’re all over social networks, they are shouting from the rooftops how excited they are to come down to Tassie,” he said.
Summer Moon commercial director Bede Clifton said the location was a big drawcard for the event.
“You won’t get a better setting than this, and it’s actually a natural amphitheater,” he said of the lawn at Josef Chromy vineyard.
“The vineyard is beautiful, and you’ll also get the sun setting coming across the stage, so it’s going to be fantastic.”
The event is family friendly and will have kids activities.
There will also be a corporate marquee, with spaces available to be reserved, which Mr Clifton said was aimed at business Christmas parties.
Summer Moon will be held Saturday December 15 from 11.00am to 8.30pm at Josef Chromy Vineyard.
