The Invermay seafood business is still in the top spot for Tasmania’s 30 best fish and chips shops, with voting closing on September 15.
And it is ranked at 17 on the 2018 Australian Fish & Chips Awards leader board.
Fraggle’s Fish & Chips has been at its Invermay Road, Invermay, location for the past three years, with owner Chris Fragoulis learning the ropes from his father, who ran a fish and chip shop for 30 years.
Nine other Northern Tasmanian fish and chip shops feature in the state’s top 30, including Prospect Fish Shop, Prospect; Chef’s Catch, Beauty Point; Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods at the Gulch, Bicheno; George Town Seafoods, George Town; Skippers Fish Shop, St Helens; The Fishers, Coles Bay; Norwood Takeaway, Norwood; Bridport Takeaway, Bridport; Roadster Roadhouse, Prospect.
Voting in the Australian Fish & Chips Awards 2018 closes on Saturday, so visit www.fishandchipsawards.com.au to choose your favourite store.
