Society president Noel Button said attendees can look forward to a high standard of exhibitors.
“The Tasmanian Daffodil Society will be there with a huge display of daffodils,” he said.
“They’ll have their AGM up here that weekend so a lot of people from around the state will actually exhibit, so it’ll be a good opportunity to see some of the real top-class daffodils - and Tasmania really has some of the best daffodils in the world.
“People will have access to buying plants that they won’t get at any of the commercial nurseries, and there will be some quite rare plants exhibited as well. It’s also a good opportunity to talk to some of the growers, some of the specialists, and find out about the plants.”
The show will feature daffodils, camellias, cut flowers, pot plants, floral art, children’s exhibits, a plant stall, and refreshments, Saturday 2pm to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm, admission $3.
