Festival highlights will include foodie walking tours, tastings, barbecues, school holiday events and special sessions for Seniors’ Week.
Festival Coordinator JoHanna Robertson said the Devonport Food and Wine Festival provided an opportunity for locals and visitors to discover something new and to learn more about growing, cooking and enjoying food.
“There is something for all ages and all wages,’’ Ms Robertson said.
“There are a variety of events on offer from high-end dining experiences, opportunities to grow and cook your own food, family-friendly outdoor events and behind the scenes tours
“We have quite a few new venues involved this year. It will be a real showcase of different food experiences available in our region.”
Festival highlights will include:
- gINDULGENT – Southern Wild will be hosting a inclusive event of Gin Tasting, Masterclass, Distillery Tour & Food/Gin Pairing.
- High Teas at Anvers – which will include local produce from the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail.
- Spring Festival – The Spring Fair will be held on Sunday 21 October at Roundhouse Park, Devonport and will be designed as a humble celebration of the food industry and culture in our region.
- Taste the Coast Dinner- Drysdale will be presenting a 5 course dinner, featuring premium seasonal produce.
