A man killed in a two-car crash in central Launceston on Friday is being remembered as a loving father and husband.

Adrian Tudor, of Trevallyn, was driving home from a night shift at Coles about 2am when his Hyundai station wagon was hit by a Ford sedan.
Police will allege the 22-year-old male driver of the sedan ran a red light at the intersection of Wellington and Frederick streets, before crashing into Mr Tudor’s Hyundai station wagon and then fleeing the scene.
Mr Tudor and a 21-year-old passenger in the sedan were transported from the scene by Ambulance Tasmania, to Launceston General Hospital.
Mr Tudor was pronounced dead a short time later.
In the hours following news of the crash, social media was flooded with tributes to a “great man taken way too soon”.
Mr Tudor was a former member of both Hadspen and Westbury cricket clubs.
Daniel Chandler, of Invermay, said Mr Tudor was a mentor to all who crossed paths with him.
“My first meeting with him was when he had the newsagent in Charles Street some 14 years ago,” he said.
“And we’ve crossed paths ever since be it through playing against his mighty Shamrocks, or just running into each other around town.
“One thing’s for sure, he always had time to chat even kind words to the extent of encouragement when you were playing against his club.”
Dean Champ said there were not enough words in the world to sum up what a great guy Mr Tudor was.
“My heart bleeds for your family, you are one of a kind mate. I will miss you Adrian Tudor,” Mr Champ said.
Police and crash investigators were working with a number of witnesses.
Senior Sergeant Jason Jones said initial investigations revealed the sedan was travelling at more than 100km/h when it crashed into the driver’s side of Mr Tudor’s station wagon.
“The next of kin were notified [Friday] and tragically he is leaving behind a partner and two young children,” Senior Sergeant Jones said.
“It is really tragic and quite disappointing that someone is involved in such a serious accident, and then just flees the scene.”
A man, believed by police to be the driver of the sedan, was located about 5am in the Newstead area.
He, along with a 21-year-old passenger, remained in Launceston General Hospital on Friday afternoon.
Senior Sergeant Jones said police expected to lay charges in relation to the crash.
