The network links growers, farming systems groups, agribusiness and researchers within Australia’s grains industry to better plan and design relevant activities.
These new positions include stakeholder and grower liaison, identifying and prioritising issues and strategic review of selected corporation investments.
Positions are for two years, starting in November, South Grower Relations manager Darren Arney said.
“The objective of the RCSN, which was established six years ago, is to provide a transparent process that ensures all priority grains industry issues are captured and addressed through targeted investments that deliver the greatest benefit to growers,” he said.
“RCSN members are geographically spread across the southern region and have diverse backgrounds, experience and skill sets – bringing enormous value to the GRDC in understanding the important issues for growers and developing the most effective RD&E responses.”
Expressions of interest for new network members close on October 1.
