With tickets selling out last week, even those in Melbourne would struggle.
Launceston residents, however, will be able to catch the action on the big screen, with Hawthorn Football Club bringing the game live to Village Cinemas in both Launceston and Hobart on Thursday night.
It won’t just be fans filling the cinemas either, mascots Hawka and Hawkette will be flying in for the event.
Hawks prizes will also be up for grabs on the night.
Hawthorn Football Club chief executive officer Justin Reeves, said the event was a chance for local fans to share their passion.
“We have such a strong and loyal supporter base in Tassie, that we love to provide an opportunity for our fans down south to watch together.”
The cinemas will both open their doors from 6.30pm, with the broadcast commencing from 6.55pm.
Tickets for the events are now on sale through the club.
Bookings are essential as both cinemas have limited seating.
