From handmade outfits to face paint and glitter, over 22,000 festival-goers turned out for triple j’s One Night Stand at St Helens.
The Examiner was there to capture it all.
The free event saw toddlers and teenagers dance the afternoon away to the sounds of local legends The Sleepyheads, Alex the Astronaut, and Middle Kids.
But the party didn’t stop there, with Tkay Maidza, Vance Joy and Peking Duk keeping the tunes pumping into the night.
Earlier this week triple j added some additional acts to the already impressive line-up including Julia Jacklin, Luca Brasi’s Tyler Richardson, Cloud Control’s Alister Wright, Ball Park Music’s Sam Cromack, Ruby Fields, SAFIA’s Ben Woolner, Kwame, Arno Faraji, Jesswar, and Carmouflage Rose.
