The Bicheno Food and Wine Festival has been running for 12 years, and officially launched for 2018 on Friday.
The festival aims to celebrate both the region’s rich history and emerging food and wine scene.
Chairman David Reed said patrons could expect the usual “smorgasboard of delicious food and drink exclusively from East Coast producers”, alongside entertainment from local musicians and performers.
“The festival provides a unique opportunity for Tasmanians and visitors alike to socialise in a relaxed and breathtaking coastal backdrop, while enjoying some of the best produce the state has to offer,” he said.
This year’s Bicheno Food and WIne Festival will run from November 16 to 18.
Tickets are available through www.bichenofestivals.com.au or from Bendigo Bank branches at Bicheno and Swansea.
A list of stallholders can be found on the festival’s website.
