Week two of the finals series will see two development league semi-finals take centre stage before two main events.
Minor premier and defending champion North Launceston will host Glenorchy at 3.30pm in a heavyweight second semi-final with a ticket to this year’s grand final to be on the line.
The winner will also earn hosting rights to the decider with the Northern Bombers leading the ledger with two wins and a loss from three clashes with the Magpies this season.
The second-ranked Pies are on a high after coming from behind to defeat Launceston in Saturday’s qualifying final, with the Blues set to challenge last year’s runners-up Lauderdale under lights in a do-or-die second semi-final.
The Southern Bombers took great pleasure in knocking Jeromey Webberley’s Clarence out of the race by 58 points at Bellerive Oval in Trent Standen’s final match.
