The revamp aimed to better reflect the needs of the community and to make it easier for residents to find the information they need. The new sections are called My Council, My Property, My Community, Our Environment, and Discover Us.

Mayor Mick Tucker said the website was a good reflection on the strategic direction the council was taking.

“This new site not only looks welcoming, bright and friendly, a great representation of our area, it is also a lot easier to navigate than our previous site and will allow our residents to access information not just about our area, but what projects council is undertaking,” he said.

“We hope all our residents have had a chance to check out the new site and find their way around all the information, but if not we will be running a series of posts through our Facebook page to help residents get used to the new look site, but overall we think it’s pretty great.”
