The entertainment for next year’s Festivale has been announced, and chairman David Dunn said he was excited about the event’s final lineup.
“The entertainment committee have secured one of the strongest lineups ever and we are offering Festivale attendees a true Australian musical experience,” he said.
“Where else could you pay $45 for three-day access to top quality entertainment and see such a unique and highly successful lineup.”
Mr Dunn said he believed the entertainment program would offer something for everyone.
On Friday night, Ross Wilson of Daddy Cool fame will take to the stage, followed by rock band the Hoodoo Gurus performing their greatest hits.
Saturday night of the event will feature roots musician Jeff Lang, followed by Kate Ceberano, and lastly New Zealander rock singer Jon Stevens.
On Sunday, renowned musician Brian Cadd will perform, followed by a jazz inspired set by Ceberano in the afternoon.
Alongside the entertainment will be the showcase of the best food and wine that Tasmania has to offer, with stallholders to be announced in coming weeks.
Those booking three-day passes before September 25 will be in the running for a food and prize package and exclusive seating in the City Park rotunda for the 33rd Festivale.
- Festivale will take place at Launceston’s City Park from February 1 to 3. Tickets are available from www.festivale.com.au.
