triple j group music director Richard Kingsmill said that during the past 15 years, the One Night Stand has built a reputation for some incredibly special performances.
“It’s a unique opportunity for artists to play in regional towns like St Helens, so they use it to do something a little bit different and celebrate the chance to be there. This year, we will get some one-off collaborations on stage for sure,” he said.

“Coastal Tasmania is fantastic and spending this weekend in St Helens is something all the acts are already excited about. I’m not sure if they’re planning a swim, but I am. I’ll swim anywhere. So hopefully I’ll get a few of them onto the beach as well!”

There will be no pass-out and adults and children with sensitive ears should wear ear plugs. Wheelchairs are welcome with a viewing platform provided for the exclusive use of persons with mobility impairment and any carers.
