The awards are judged on quality of construction, degree of difficulty, functionality, value for money and safety.
“The work delivered by our members represents the best of the best from within the Tasmanian building and construction industry,” Mrs Partridge said.
Vos Construction & Joinery Pty Ltd walked away with the Commercial Builder of the Year Award.
“The range and diversity of Vos Construction and Joinery’s projects in this year’s awards program is extraordinary, with 14 entries comprising 13 separate projects across 12 categories.”
“Of these buildings, six are category winners, representing a winner in 50 per cent of all categories entered, and they include a number of the most challenging projects reviewed as part of this year’s awards program.”
“Those successful in our special award categories also need a mention – for their particular skill shown, their dedication to the industry and the motivation of all the winners to contribute to and learn from the industry career they have chosen,” Mrs Partridge said.
