A P-plater has been caught speeding and drink-driving.
The 23-year-old was nabbed while driving his green sedan along the Bass Highway on Sunday.
Tasmania Police were conducting mobile speed detection duties near Hagley about 2.15pm.
The man, from Newnham, was clocked travelling 135km/h in a 110km/h zone.
He returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.175.
This is three times the legal limit for those holding a full Tasmanian driver’s licence.
Provisional drivers are not allowed any alcohol in their system.
The man has been disqualified from driving for a period of 12 months.
