The Berriedale Hotel has been listed for sale.
The pub was returned to its former name when Letitia Hodgetts took over in June last year.
Listed as a freehold, for $1.5 million Harcourts North agent Andy Howell said, on the internet listing, that pubs like the Berriedale Hotel don’t often come on the market.
“[It’s] a property that oozes historical charm, has a great tenant in place and also presents the new owner with potential further development opportunities,” Mr Howell said.
“As a long-term investment this property is a sound option, to the developer looking to realise further upside this property represents a great opportunity.”
Mr Howell said the property presented “very well” and had been maintained to a “very high standard”.
The site has a total land size of more than 4100 squared metres.
Berriedale Hotel was heritage listed in 1842.
